This question is based on "Fahrenheit 451" which is novel written by the author  Ray Bradbury. And based on this novel, the campfire was different for Montag as compared to the burning fire because it is warming. Meaning, it gives off more comfort and healing than the usual fire that is destructive. Hope this helps.
