The key figures of English Romanticism were Wordsworth and Coleridge, who later inspired Byron, Shelley, and Keats. They differed by showing how important it is to be an individual and to express your emotions and your beliefs. They inspired people to write simply and beautifully rather than rigidly as was done in the Age of Reason.
