The structural formula of corn oil is as follows:

[tex]CH_{3}-(CH_{2})_{6}-CO-O-CH-(CH_{2}-O-CO-(CH_{2})_{6}-CH_{3})_{2}[/tex]

It is converted into soap by the process of saponification. The reaction is attached.

In the reaction, corn oil in the presence of NaOH gets converted into corn oil soap and glycerol.

Thus, the chemical formula of the most abundant corn soap is [tex]C_{8}H_{15}O_{2}Na[/tex].
