= 48 yards total

STEP 2:
Divide total yards (48 yards) by portion size (1/8 yard)

= 48 ÷ 1/8
to divide fractions, we multiply by the reciprocal/inverse of 1/8
= 48 * 8/1
= 48 * 8
= 384 bows

ANSWER: She can make 384 bows.
