Hey Anna.

Convert 6 ft 8 inches to just inches;
6 x 12 = 72; 72 + 8 = 80

Now, set the new inches as a proportion to 5 inches.
80:5; divide both sides by 5 to solve for the scale factor.

80 / 5 = 16
5 / 5 = 1

The scale factor for the basketball player to the model is 16:1, or 16 inches to 1 inch.

I hope this helps!
