6.5 hours. The reason being is that i did 8x6, and got 48, then realized that another .5 would get me 48+4=52, which would fufill the equation

8x6.5=52 
Answer: 6.5 Hours 
6.5 hour since 52/8=6.5  you would divide 8 by 52
