Describe how you can use the midpoint, slope or distance formulas to show that a quadrilateral is a parallelogram

You can use the slope formula to find the slope of each side. If the opposite sides have equal slopes then they are parallel. If you can show both pairs of opposite sides are parallel, then that proves you have a parallelogram.
