Hello!

What happens in the light reactions of photosynthesis?

Light energy is absorbed by the grana of the chloropast. This excites the electrons inceasing the energy levels creating an electron transport system.

Water enters the tyrocord and gets split the O2 is released into the atmosphere. The hydrogen gets carried by an electron carrier molecule (NADPH2) and gets taken into the dark reaction (photosynthesis).
