Using the rule of supplementary angles; 

180=y+135 
180-135=y 
45=y

You also know that the internal angles of a triangle always adds up to 180; 

180=90+45+x
180=135+x 
180-135=x 
45=x 

Therefore, the values of x and y are 45 degrees each.
