[tex] \left \{ {{4x+2y=10} \atop {x-y=13}} \right.[/tex]

[tex]x=13+y[/tex]

[tex]4(13+y)+2y=10[/tex]

[tex]52+4y+2y=10[/tex]

[tex]6y=-42[/tex]

[tex]y=-\frac{42}{6}=-7[/tex]

[tex]y=-7[/tex]

[tex]x=13-7=6[/tex]

[tex] \left \{ {{x=6} \atop {y=-7}} \right. [/tex]
