d/14-9=5
First, we must get rid of the 9 to isolate d. Add 9 on both sides. Then the equation would be d/14=14. Now, multiply both sides by 14 to make d by itself. d=14*14=196
Answer: d=196 :)

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.d/14−9=51/14*d+−9=51/14*d−9=5
Step 2: Add 9 to both sides.1/14*d−9+9=5+91/14*d=14

Step 3: Multiply both sides by 14.14*(1/14*d)=(14)*(14)d=196
