the triangles height is 4 feet

to find the area of a triangle is base times height divided by 2
base is 4 and the area is 8
so if the height is 4
it would be 4 × 4
which equals 16
and 16 divided by 2 is 8

area=1/2 times base times height
given that we must find the height
solve for height
area=1/2 bh
times both sides by 2
2area=bh
divide both sides by b
2area/b=h

input
area=8
b=4
h=h

2(8)/4=h
16/4=h
4=h
the height is 4ft
