PEMDAS. An exponent multiplies a number by itself that many times. 6*6*6.
Negative times a positive is a negative.
Parentheses often mean multiplication.

6^-3= -216
2(-216)= -432

Entire equation:
2(6)^-3
2(-216)
=-432
