Solution : Given,

Concentration of [tex]OH^-[/tex] ion = [tex]5.81\times 10^{-3}M[/tex]

As we know that,

[tex]pOH=-\log [OH^-][/tex]

Now put the value of [tex]OH^-[/tex] ion concentration, we get the pOH.

[tex]pOH=-\log (5.81\times 10^{-3}M)[/tex]

[tex]pOH=2.235[/tex]

Therefore,the pOH of KOH solution is, 2.235
