remember that the area of a trapezoid can be expressed as

[tex]\begin{gathered} A=\frac{(B+b)\cdot h}{2} \\ \end{gathered}[/tex]

Replace in the formula taking into account that B is the greater base, b is the smallest base and h is the height of the trapezoid.

[tex]\begin{gathered} A=\frac{(95+65)\cdot40}{2} \\ A=\frac{160}{2}\cdot40 \\ A=80\cdot40 \\ A=3200 \end{gathered}[/tex]

The area of the trapezoid is 3,200 sqft.
