you are on the right track. Writing down PEMDAS helps. start with the parenthesis. you got 8/5 -2. let have common denominator. (8-10)/5 = -2/5

now evaluate 4^3= 64
since multiplication comes before addition you'll have 64 × -(2/5)= -128/5. separately, multiply 24×(3/5)=72/5

Finally, add the two final value. 72/5 - 128/5= -56/5
