Question: 13 ÷ 9164

In long division 13 goes into 91, 7 times. I bring down the 6 and 13 goes into it 0 times. This leaves 6 and I bring down the 4. 13 goes into 64, 4 times. This leaves 12 in which 13 does not go into. Wouldn't this be 704.12?

By using a calculator I know that the answer is 704.9. Where did I mess up?

According to your verbal statement, you are dividing 13 into 9164.  You must
write this division as 9164/13, not as 13/9164.

13/9164 returns the result 0.00142 on my phone calculator.  That's not what you want.  On the other hand, 9164/13 returns the result 704.9.

The result you obtained is probably due to a very small arithmetic error.
Try writing out the problem again, as long division, and doing it again without reference to your first attempt.
