Constantine's adoption of Christianity cemented its hold onto Europe and the power structures of Europe, which can still be see today. Charles Martel's victory ended the encroachment of Islam onto Europe, effectively removing Islam as a competitor in Europe until the Ottoman Empire. More so Martel's victory secured the establishment of the Holy Roman Empire which was an intentional callback to the Christian Rome of Constantine.
