5/4*6/12=30/48=5/8
then find a common denominator between 5/8 and 6/5. (8*5=40)
5/8 * 5/5=25/40 and 6/5 * 8/8=48/40
so 25/40 + 48/40 = 73/40
Which isn't able to be simplified... Have you typed the numbers in correctly?
