You can find it in two ways
1: visually, draw a triangle and count from vertically to horizontally
2: slope formula - I will show it this way
(Y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
Given points (3,12), (4,16)
(16-12)/(4-3) = 4/1 = 4
The slope is 4
The slope represents the $ per hour. In this case, the wage is $4 per hour.
