why are cancer cells or abnormal cells used in tissue cultures

They are used because they keep reproducing more of themselves for use when most cells wouldn't !!!!!!!!!!!!

When a cancer cell is placed on a culture dish it will show no contact of inhibition. when the surface of the dish is covered, the cells will continue to divide and will pile up into mounds.
