Answer:
Step 1: grab the brick
Step 2: use something to cut the brick
Step 3: cut the brick horizontally 2 times
Step 4: cut the brick vertically through the middle 1 time
Step 5: get rid of 1 brick piece
Step 6: now you have 5 brick pieces

There are other methods such as cutting the brick 4 times vertically and much more but this is what I came up with
