the first step is to remove the bracket
(3\4=0.75)
0.75 x 13+-18
then multiplication
then subtraction

Use the method PEMDAS (please excuse my dear aunt sally) which mathematically stands for parenthesis, exponent, multiply, divide, add, subtract.
