-1/2x > = 4 ...multiply both sides by -2, change inequality sign
x < = 4 * -2
x < = -8

closed circle (because of the equal sign) on -8, shading to the left (because it is less then)

we have

[tex]-\frac{1}{2}x \geq 4[/tex]

Solve the inequality

Multiply by [tex]-2[/tex] both sides-----> remember change inequality sign

[tex]x \leq -8[/tex]

the solution is the interval-----------> (-∞,-8]
