Well we know there are 15 women. The ratio of men to women is 4:5 so that means every 4 men, there are 5 women. If we divide 15 by 5, we get 3. Now we multiply 3 to the number of men which is 4 because what happens to one part of the ratio then happens to the next. Added together, 12 plus 15 equals 27 so that is the total. Hope this helps!
