Y = -2x + 17 as if -2 is the gradient if you substitute that into the expression
y= Mx + c (6 , 5 )
Y = -2x + c ( x , y ) substitute these coordinates into the expression
5 = -2(6) + c
5= -12 + c add 12 each side
17 = c therefore y= -2x + 17
