The distance of the points is approximately 12.64 .

Using the distance formula, the distance between -3 and 5 on a number line, is 8.

The distance between -6 and 7 on a number line is 13.

Now, using the distance formula, 8^2+13^2 = 160. The square root of 160 is approximately 12.64 .
