Answer:

The root system of a plant is generally speaking, the heart of its circulatory

system. You tear out its heart, it cannot feed itself nor can it use hydrostatic

pressure to circulate the food it would have absorbed from the medium it is rooted

in. You uproot it, it typically dies .
