Answer: the federal government changed during andrew jackson's presidency because andrew jackson declared that the federal government had more control than state governments and so that meant the federal government could impose taxes the states did not approve and it also changed because the people of the states had to follow guidelines that the federal government made and if they were not followed the people could face punishment.
