Equate the divisor to zero to get the value of x. This gives -2. Substitute this value to the x's of the dividend.
                      3(-2)^4 + 2(-2)³ - (-2)² + 2(-2) - 24
The answer to the operation above is 0. Therefore, the remainder is 0.
