        +1   +1     Add 1 to both sides to remove the -1 from the same side as x

0.2x     =  0

/0.2        /0.2  Divide the number being multiplied with x to get x alone

0/0.2 = 0

x = 0         Now you have the answer.

Add one to each side which gives you 0.2x=0
Then divide each side by 0.2 so that the 0.2s on the same side cancel out so you’re left with 0/0.2 so the answer would be x= 0
