For this case we must resolve the following inequality:

[tex]3 (x-2) <18[/tex]

We apply distributive property on the left side of inequality:

[tex]3x-3 * 2 <18\\3x-6 <18[/tex]

We add 6 to both sides of the inequality:

[tex]3x <18 + 6\\3x <24[/tex]

We divide between 3 on both sides of the inequality:

[tex]x <\frac {24} {3}\\x <8[/tex]

Thus, the solution is given by all the values of "x" less than 8.
