The range would be [8, 3]

In order to find the range, simply plug each end of the domain into the equation.

f(x) = -x + 5

f(-3) = -(-3) + 5

f(-3) = 3 + 5

f(-3) = 8

Then the other side

f(x) = -x + 5

f(2) = -2 + 5

f(2) = 3
