The Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) went all over the South to challenge segregation laws with peaceful protests.
The group while under the leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., challenged the segregation laws that were established in public accommodations, voting boots, public transportation and housing.
