The velocity of any wave is given by:

[tex]v=f \lambda [/tex]

In which [tex]f[/tex] is the wave's frequency (measured in hertz) and [tex]\lambda[/tex] is the wave's wavelength (measured in meters).

So, for this wave:
[tex]v=(680)(.5)=340 \frac{m}{s} [/tex]
