first we need to find the value of a and b by formula method
we can use following formula :
x1, X2 =
[tex] - b { \: }^{2} + \sqrt{(b { }^{2} } - 4ac) \div 2a[/tex]
[tex] - b { }^{2} - \sqrt{(b {}^{2} } - 4ac) \div 2a[/tex]
here, a=1 , b=-6 and c=2-29=-27 (for using in formula above value)
after finding value of x1 and x2
higher value is a and lower value is b
and you can put those value in equation 2a-3b
