Hello!

You can put 3 in for x

y = 1/4(3) - 9

y = 0.75 - 9

y = -8.25

A point on the line is (3, -8.25)

Find the difference in y values

-8.25 - 2 = -10.25

The answer is 10.25 units

Hope this helps!
