Distribute:

=24x+−40+(−3)(x)+(−3)(1)

=24x+−40+−3x+−3

Combine Like Terms:

=24x+−40+−3x+−3

=(24x+−3x)+(−40+−3)

=21x+−43

Answer:

=21x−43
