Let's have x and y as the numbers. Their sum is:
x+y=98
But, one integer is twice the other.
2X=Y
Let's plug this equation in for y.
X+2x=98
Add like terms.
3X=98
We need x by itself, let's divide both sides by 3.
98÷3=32 2/3
If y is twice x, y is 65 1/3.

The integers are 65 1/3 and 32 2/3.
